Located in the heart of the Aragatsotn region, Sar Malore was a unique opportunity for us to think about the harmony of the human and nature. The main aim of the project was to make changes in the existing building and turn it into a meditation retreat center, where people can be reunited with the nature.
For the people living in the house and those visiting them, nature is very important. That is why we decided to design a small inner garden, where they can enjoy the nature during the very cold winters of the region. The park, which overviews a canyon, was one of the dynamic elements we added to the existing building. This part of the building consists of many glass windows, so that the nature may be enjoyed all year round.
