“Hayordac Tun” is a child education center in Yerevan established in 1993. In the complex, hundreds of children learn acting, play sports, attend dance classes, learn carpentry, sculpting, and many other crafts. The building was built in the 1970s and not renovated for many years. When working on the project, we tried to restore the initial planning of the building by eliminating the changes made throughout the years. The main aim of the project was to make the complex as comfortable for the children as possible.
The center consists of two buildings - A and B. During the renovation, to increase the territory of the complex 4th floor was added to the second building. This new floor was entirely dedicated to workshops. In the first building, 110 sqm territory was added, the primary aim of which was to increase the sports hall and fitting rooms. To make the movement between the buildings easier for children with disabilities, the passage between the two buildings was renovated, and an elevator was added.
